The AIViewer Lens
Our core article unit has four layers: Creator explains, Sources verify, What changed, and You try. The embedded source is an input, not the finished product. A page must add enough independent teaching, verification, context, and action to remain useful without the embed.
Our evidence labels
New pages identify the strongest evidence available:
- Creator source plus verification: an official video or talk is the starting point, and its important ideas are checked against primary documents and research.
- Primary sources: the page reports directly from official documentation, research papers, standards, filings, or release notes.
- Mixed sources: primary material is combined with credible independent reporting or analysis, with the roles kept visible.
- Documented test: AIViewer completed stated tasks and publishes enough conditions, artifacts, and limitations for readers to assess the observation.
A page without a documented test record is not a hands-on review. Provider demonstrations and creator examples are attributed as their evidence, not converted into AIViewer experience.
The page-by-page process
- Select for learning value. We choose an idea because it can help a defined reader understand or do something—not because a video is merely popular.
- Identify the source’s thesis. We attribute the creator’s position without reproducing a transcript or disguising a sequential summary as original work.
- Build a claim map. Important factual claims are separated from opinion, analogy, forecast, and AIViewer inference.
- Check primary evidence. We open current documentation, papers, standards, or release notes and record the check date and limitations.
- Add missing context. We explain counterevidence, changes since recording, access constraints, or the point at which the source becomes uncertain.
- Create an action. Every cornerstone page gives the reader a bounded exercise, checklist, or workflow with a visible outcome.
- Run publication checks. The build rejects missing disclosures, broken internal links, stale review gates, and retired duplicate routes. These checks support editorial judgment; they are not represented as human review.
Why new pages are not scored
AIViewer does not currently publish numerical tool ratings or “winner” rankings. A precise score can imply a repeatable test program that does not exist. Research pages may still explain fit, trade-offs, price boundaries, and safer alternatives, but those conclusions remain tied to the evidence shown.
Access, free products, and commercial relationships
We may test a free plan, pay for access, receive temporary access from a provider, use a demonstration account, or evaluate public materials. The relevant condition is disclosed when it affects the conclusion. Free access, an affiliate relationship, sponsorship, or advertising does not guarantee coverage, inclusion, or a favorable conclusion.
Evidence and screenshots
Where practical and lawful, hands-on reviews should include screenshots, sample inputs, output excerpts, measurements, or other evidence of the work performed. We may omit or redact evidence that contains personal data, confidential material, copyrighted output, account information, or unsafe content. An omission should not be replaced with a stronger claim than the remaining evidence supports.
Freshness and retesting
AI products and claims change frequently. New pages show a fact-check date and a review-due date. A timely signal can expire, while an older video lesson can remain valuable if its “what changed” layer is maintained. Pages that miss their evidence gate may be removed from promotion, monetization, or the public index until refreshed.
Corrections and challenges
Providers and readers may challenge a factual claim or submit newer evidence. We consider that information, but the publication controls the final wording and verdict. Material errors are handled under our Corrections Policy.
